English Angoras
English Angoras are a beautiful breed with luxurious wool that stands out like gold. It is remarkably soft and will catch your eye within seconds. The English Angora has long fiber that is perfect for doll makers or wool spinners with the glorious texture of their wool. This breed is known as the "Puppy Dog" breed because of their calm personality and sweet nature, along with the 'puppy" fluff. English Angoras are basically a warm & comforting stuffed animal but with more emotional support!
What do English angoras need to stay fluffy?
All Angoras need to be regularly groomed to have the best fur without mats. I use a pet blower, comb, slicker brush, clippers, and scissors. These tools help to get existing mats out along with keeping the wool in shape.
I blow my rabbit's wool out a few times a week and comb spots that need it. I also have a grooming table that spins that I've found very helpful during this process.
